Hello and welcome to the new year!!

During the last weeks of the old year, we at BusinessMind literally scattered to the four winds to take a break from everyday life in some warmer climes. While my boyfriend and I luckily missed Hurricane Otto in Costa Rica, enjoying the overwhelming flora and fauna, my dear colleague Nicole made a trip to southeast Asia, catching some sunshine, energy and a whole portion of happiness during her stay. Read more about my Trip to Costa Rica here .

The creative break felt really good since 2016 has been a very intense, but also super-exciting year with Train-the-Trainer, moderation and project management trainings, as well as accompanying processes including facilitation. No matter if Vienna or Paris, Copenhagen, Switzerland or Brussels, the following recordings show a little of everything:

Opening of the Event “Opening Science to Society”  at Nov 15th 2016 in Brussels  Animated discussion in the Fish Bowl. Michal Boni, member of the European parliament among others Lively project presentation in the marketplace with juggling fun :-). A moment to remember! Closing Session – Everything went well! Now I can also enjoy a Belgian beer! 🙂

Now we’re back and we are excited about all the things to come!

We have many plans for 2017: for the first half year, we received a lot of inquiries and many bookings already. Some of which are accompanying processess with large group moderations, trainings, and then – of course – my new BusinessMind Live Online Training (webinars) on Moderation (starting in German language) I’m particularly looking forward to.

I will have my first test run in the course of the NCP Academy at the beginning of March. It’s a training series for National Contact Points of the European Research Framework Programme. For 10 NCPs I will hold an interactive Live Online Training “Train the Trainer”.

From the end of April 2017 I will then probably continue with the Live Online Training (Webinar) “Workshop Moderation” in German. Read more about it here and in my next article.

In Summer it’s then time for another BusinessMind Summer Academy since it’s been very successful back in 2016. The training “Workshop Moderation“ starts at July 6th and 7th of 2017, followed by the training “Moderation of large groups“ at July 10th and 11th, also in German! A gleaning (in German) for the Summer Academy 2016 can be found here. If you are interested in an open moderation training in English, please send an email to birgit.baumann@businessmind.at.

As always, I’m happy to have you read along and about all your participating comments. Maybe I’ll even see you at one of the trainings or workshops or via webcam at the first BusinessMind Live Online Training! 🙂

Take care! Birgit
