Have you ever left a seminar highly motivated only to notice after 3 weeks that you had not implemented much of it?

We are familiar with this phenomenon and are therefore increasingly offering blended learning journeys.

Blended learning is the most effective way to achieve your learning goals and hold efficient modern trainings. But what exactly is blended learning? But what exactly is blended learning?

Blended learning at a glance

Blended learning means delivering course content in a variety of formats Since the participants deal with the content over a longer period of time, we speak of a “learning journey”, i.e. a blended learning journey. . This includes onsite training, live online training, e-learning, quizzes, videos, podcasts and surveys.

Not only does it offer a richer learning experience than any individual format, it also enables continuous implementation of what has been learned in everyday work.

Da sich die Teilnehmer:innen über einen längeren Zeitraum mit dem Inhalt auseinandersetzen, sprechen wir von einer “Lernreise” Also eine Blended Learning Journey.

What we particularly like about BusinessMind: During a blended learning journey, the participants get to know each other better and grow together as a team

An example of a Blended Learning Journey by BusinessMind

BusinessMind offers, among other things, train-the-trainer seminars. This is now also available as a Blended Learning Journey.

Graphically prepared, a blended learning journey from BusinessMind can look like this:

Before the first module starts, participants can work on the most important content asynchronously in the form of e-learning.

We usually start with a physical Kick Off. We think it’s good that all participants can get to know each other face-to-face. In this first module, the basics for the train-the-trainer are developed and a common wording is found.

During the individual modules, the participants work asynchronously on various tasks that they received between the modules.

In modules 2 and 3 there is a deep dive. The participants learn, for example: role differences between trainer and moderator, online collaboration tools (Padlet, Miro, etc), tool handling, interactive online training, slide design, netiquette, etc

The master class concludes the course. Here, participants have the opportunity to present their design in a protected setting and receive professional feedback.

Advantages and disadvantages of a blended learning journey

How do I design a Blended Learning Journey?

According to the Businessmind mantra “Methods follow goals”, the first task is to formulate goals and not goals.

Then the different formats are selected. (E.g. live online training, face-to-face training etc) and roughly filled with content. Preferably with a mind map. Then create a graphical overview of your modules. You can work in the classic way with Word or let off steam in Miro.

Last but not least, you get to work on the fine design. We are fans of sessionlab. This also makes the sometimes tedious fine design fun.

Would you like to experience a learning journey yourself or do you think that this learning concept would be an enrichment for your team?
